Mediterranean Mezze Hummus Recipe

VEGAN | GLUTEN-FREE

You Will Need:

Ingredients:

  1. 2 1/2 cups pre-soaked chickpeas

  2. 4 tbs olive oil

  3. Salt to taste

  4. 1 tbs lemon juice (more or less if needed)

  5. 2 tbs freshly crushed garlic

  6. 2 tbs water (more if needed)

  7. 1 1/2 tsp cumin powder

Method:

  1. Drain and rinse chickpeas

  2. Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Add more water, salt or olive oil to adjust taste and consistency

  3. Enjoy on toast with cayenne pepper, spring onion and sliced tomato

  4. Store in an airtight container in the fridge, use within one week
